Previously a family house, La Renardière has been transformed into a large self-catering holiday home. Set in a large landscaped garden of 17 acres, it sits equadistant between the towns of Ruffec and Civray. It offers a quiet and relaxing setting for your holidays as a family or a group of friends.

The gite occupies one downstairs wing of the house and the entire upstairs. The surface area of the gite measures some 2340 square feet.

On entering the gite through its' private entrance you will be greeted by a hallway with marble floors, a white brass chandelier, an ADSL connected computer & a library with local tourist information and books. To the left you will find a large dining room with seating for twelve as well as the sitting room with 32" LCD television, satelite TV receiver, DVD player, hi-fi and log fire. To the right of the lower dining room you will find the fully equiped kitchen (with fridge-freezer, dishwasher, 90cm oven & 5 gas hobs, microwave oven, coffee maker, blender...etc). There is also a shared washing machine to the rear of the house.

Upstairs, on a mezzanine level you will find the French billiard table. The gite has four double bedrooms, one of which is a family room capable of sleeping an additional two people in single beds. All bedrooms have a private shower room, and are fitted with electric heating & overhead fans to make stays in any season comfortable. It is also possible to connect into the free & unlimited WiFi.

Outside you will find the private garden area with garden furniture and a barbeque. There is also ample parking for 4 cars. You will also find the shared outdoor in-ground pool (12 metres * 5 metres, open normally from mid-May to mid-September) & a ping-pong table.

We offer three types of self-catering holiday at Gite La Renardière:

• Weekly stays. The accommodation is available from 4pm Saturday until 10am the following Saturday.

• Mid-week stays. The accommodation is available from 4pm Monday until 10am on Friday. Mid-week stays are not offered in very high season.

• Weekend stays. The accommodation is available from 4pm Friday until 10am on Monday. Weekend stays are not offered in very high season.
